RCA Terms and conditions

INDEMNITY PERTAINING TO PARTICIPATION IN AND ATTENDANCE OF RCA (REMOTE CONTROL ACADEMY) ACTIVITIES, AND EMERGENCY CONSENT

1. I understand that remote control racing is a non-contact sport but that my participation in this sport, especially in competitive racing, exposes me to low risks (foreseeable or not) that may result in injury, property damage and economic loss to me, my dependants, legal guardian(s) and/or other possible interested parties.
2. I appreciate that I, whilst participating in or attending racing activities, must exercise extra care for my own person and for others around me.
3. Should I, at any RC Academy activity, require medical care and cannot attend thereto myself, I authorise RC Academy members to seek, or have administered whatever first aid or emergency medical care deemed necessary for my welfare. I agree that, should the RCA Academy incur any health care expenses, I shall be responsible for all charges pertaining to such health care services.
4. Notwithstanding my knowledge and appreciation of the low risks and dangers attached to my participation in or attendance of RCA racing activities:
   1. I assume full responsibility for all consequences that can be associated with my participation in or attendance of all racing activities. I confirm that I will participate in and attend racing activities entirely at my own risk and that neither I, my dependants or any other person with a legal interest  can have any claim that pertains to such participation or attendance, against RC Academy
   1. I agree that this waiver and indemnity is irrevocable for as long as I remain a member of RC Academy.
   1. In addition, this waiver and indemnity cannot be amended unless such amendment is reduced to writing and signed by both of us.
5. I hereby indemnify RC Academy and its staff against and from any or all claims whatsoever that may arise in connection with any loss, injury or damages arising out of any person contracting the COVID-19 virus during the course of and tenure of my child’s attendance as a learner at the academy. , disclaiming any entitlement which I, my child or any other

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR (REMOTE CONTROL ACADEMY – HEREIN REFERRED TO AS “THE ACADEMY”)

• RC Academy follows the normal school term.  Lessons are taught during school terms only
• No lessons will occur during school holidays, public holidays or “school only” holidays – unless specifically arranged and communicated by the academy to the contrary. Tuition fees are worked out accordingly
• All tuition fees is payable in advance and one calendar month’s written notice (e.g. email) of termination of a racers participation in classes is required. The academy will not be obliged to teach racers if the tuition fees are not paid in advance.
• The academy’s instructors and its personnel follow all Covid-19 prevention protocols (i.e. social distancing, sanitizing of equipment and wearing of masks) and take all reasonable precautions for the safety and welfare of the participant.
